All the accommodation presented has undergone a Prefectoral classing or is in the process of recieving their Prefectoral classing.
Please find below the normes regarding self catering accommodation :
* In a good general condition, bathroom, equipped kitchen or kitchen area.
** Comfortable, in a good general condition, same criteria as the 1* category + bedsheets and towels available on request.
*** Very comfortable, same criteria as for the 2* category + telephone, colour TV, and electrical appliances...
**** Great comfort , same criteria as for the3* category + washing machine , dryer deending on capacity.
***** Top comfort, same criteria as for the 4* category + sauna.
Important ! The surface area indicated is the liveable surface area ( it does not include the bathrooms or toilets).
The decoration and the situation do not fail a classing but can help to underclass it.
The prices charged by the Giffre reservations are the public prices, ie. the same prices that the owners charge. To reserve through the Centre is not any more expensive, infact, the contrary ! You save time and we can also offer you our preferential prices on ski passes or special offers on accommodation for example.
This is to be given directly to the owner and will be returned at the end of your holiday period or after 15 days.
This is collected by all 3 villages and is given to the owner. The holiday tax is put towards the touristic development of the area and is normally given to the Tourist Office to aid their programmes.
This is given to you after the complete payment of your holiday. You must present it at the beginning of your holiday to each party that is providing you with a service, ie the owner of the accommodation, the lift pass company etc..
It shows all the elements of your holiday that you have paid for aswell as giving you essential practical information such as the phone number of the owner of your accommodation, details regarding key pick-up, directions to find the accommodation etc...
If you would like an inventory of the apartment do not hesitate to contact the owner.
The information regarding the key pick-up is found on your voucher or will be given to you by the owner him/herself : make sure that you have made contact with them by phone BEFORE your arrival day...
Most of the time these are not provided but can be rented through the owner.
Thanks to the Tourist Office in Samoëns, heavy suitcases are over! They can organise your bedsheet and towel rental for you. Pick it up on your arrival day from the office.
